Function

1. Sterilization and antiseptic, especially for fungi. For Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella dysenteriae, Typhoid and Paracases bacillus, Pneumococcal, Aerobacter aerogenes, Proteus, Bacillus anthracis, Salmonella enteritidis, Vibrio cholerae, etc. Inhibition. It has a bactericidal effect on Gram-positive bacteria and can be used to treat a variety of diseases caused by bacterial infections. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) is 0.02-0.07 ul/ml, and for deep pathogenic fungi, the MIC is 0.1-0.3 ul/ml. Japanese medical experts have found that cinnamaldehyde has a significant effect on fungi. Studies on the antifungal action of cinnamaldehyde on 22 pathogenic fungi indicate that cinnamaldehyde is an antifungal active substance, mainly by destroying the fungal cell wall and allowing drug penetration. In the fungal cells, the organelles are destroyed and the bactericidal effect is exerted.
2. Anti-ulcer, strengthen the stomach, intestinal movement. Its mechanism of action is due to the inhibition of ulcer activity factors (gastric juice and pepsin) and the defense factor (gastric mucosal blood flow rate), as well as inhibition of gastric mucosal potential and mucosal protection. In addition, cinnamaldehyde can reduce pancreatic enzyme activity. Cinnamaldehyde is an aromatic stomach-driving agent, which has a stimulating effect on the stomach and intestines. It can promote the secretion of saliva and gastric juice, enhance digestive function, relieve gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasm, and relieve intestinal spasm pain. It is used to treat stomach pain, flatulence and colic, and has significant stomach and wind-swept effects.
3. Fat decomposition. Cinnamaldehyde inhibits the release of adrenaline and ACTH from fatty acids and promotes the fat synthesis of glucose. Cinnamic acid also has such effects, but cinnamaldehyde is much more effective than cinnamic acid. Therefore, it can be used in blood sugar control drugs to enhance the performance of insulin replacement glucose and prevent and treat diabetes.
4. Antiviral effect. For influenza virus, SV10 virus has a strong tumor suppressing effect.
5. Anti-cancer effect. It can inhibit the occurrence of tumors, and has anti-mutagenic and anti-radiation effects.
6. Dilate blood vessels and reduce blood pressure. It has antihypertensive effect on adrenal cortical hypertension.
7. Aphrodisiac effect. A study by the Chicago Center for Treatment Research showed that cinnamaldehyde has a certain effect on male aphrodisiac.
8. Commonly used in external medicines and synthetic medicines. It is used in massage liquid and beauty products to spread blood stasis, promote blood circulation, warm the skin, tighten skin tissue, and external massage can make the limbs and body comfortable and improve water retention. It has an effect on scarring of the skin, softening and removal of fibroids. Also used in safflower oil, cooling oil, active oil and other external use drugs, mainly to activate the muscles and bones, scattered blood, with sedative, analgesic, antipyretic, anticonvulsant, regulate the central nervous system, can also improve white blood cells and Number of platelets. It also has a strong fungicidal effect and has a suppressing effect on skin fungi. In short, cinnamaldehyde can not only be used as a raw material medicine, but also can be further processed into a variety of powerful drugs by adding it to various external medicines and finished medicines.
