Hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate is a food additive, white powder, odourless, tasteless, and insoluble in water. Can be used as a thickening agent. On the basis of etherification, the swelling power and transparency of HPDSP obtained by proper cross-linking were still significantly higher than that of the original starch. The paste is stable to temperature, acidity and shear force.
